At AP Home Inspections we've found that one of the keys to a successful home inspection is the participation of the Real Estate Professional. APHI wants to help you, the Realtor, make the sales transaction as smooth and easy as possible.

The Realtor plays an important part in the home inspection process. The more comfortable and knowledgeable the Realtor, the more secure the client will feel. Understanding the Home Inspection process can help you feel more comfortable with the process.

To Serve our Client And to Help You, the Realtor - we educate the client, providing a professional home inspection. It is a thorough, comprehensive, impartial, third-party, visual evaluation of the condition of the property, physical structure, electrical, plumbing, heating air conditioning, roofing, interior and exterior of the home.

We've provided the following information to help guide you in this process.

Big or small house, old or new, we want the home buyer to feel confident about their home purchase.
We want them to feel that their home is a very fine house.

In addition: We ask that you help our client understand the purpose of a home inspection, that no house is perfect. And that a home inspection is not a guarantee. It is a "snap shot" of the home on that day through the eyes of a trained professional.

We ask that you encourage the home buyer to be present and the homeowner to be absent. During the home inspection the buyer is “emotionally” taking possession of the home. We understand that what happens during a home inspection can make or break a deal.

If a radon test has been ordered, we ask that you communicate to the seller’s agent that the homeowner needs to follow “closed house” conditions 12 hours before the test begins as well as during the 48 hours of the test.
